1. Are you a Texas-based business?
You operate a Texas-based small business, startup, or entrepreneurial venture with fewer than 500 employees. At a minimum, applicants must have a registered DBA (Doing Business As). If you don't have one yet, visit our Business Resources page to learn how to obtain one.
2. Is your product, idea, or concept innovative?
You believe your product, concept, or idea offers unique features, capabilities, or applications that distinguish it from currently available products or solutions.
3. Do you need help solving a technical challenge?
Your project involves engineering, manufacturing, design, testing, or another technical challenge.
4. Have you explored possible solutions?
You've researched or attempted to solve the challenge using available resources but still need help finding a solution.
5. Do you have supporting materials? Optional
Prototypes, patents, engineering drawings, or photos are helpful but not required.
